US DOT Truck Decals, Vinyl & Business Signs in Northbrook

Northbrook contractors, landscapers and service fleets run trucks that carry a name and a number on the door — we cut both. US DOT and MC decals, GVWR, vinyl lettering and magnetic signs for the trucks that go back to being personal vehicles on the weekend, 20 minutes east of the shop.

Your sign company, right down the road from Northbrook

Northbrook's fleets are mostly trades and service outfits working the corridors along Skokie Boulevard, Willow Road and Dundee, with I-94 and I-294 a minute away when a job runs long. Twenty minutes east of the shop — door lettering matched to the cab, or magnetic signs if the vehicle does double duty on the weekend.

Northbrook truck decal FAQs

If I take the vinyl off in a few years, will it wreck the paint?
On factory paint in sound condition, no. Vinyl comes off with heat and patience, and the adhesive residue wipes away with an adhesive remover. The paint that does get pulled is paint that was already failing — a resprayed panel that was not prepped, or clearcoat that has started to lift on its own. If a door has been repainted, say so and we will treat it as the fragile surface it is.
I am a landscaper — no USDOT, no MC. Can I still get a proper name-and-phone set?
That is a good share of what leaves the shop. A name, phone number and website cut in vinyl is the same job as a regulatory set, just without the rules deciding the layout — which means you get to decide it, and we will lay it out to be readable from a car behind you rather than cramming everything onto the door.
Do my landscape trailers need lettering too?
Not for the federal carrier marking — that rule is about the powered truck, not the trailer. Owners letter them anyway for two reasons that have nothing to do with inspections: a trailer with your name on it is harder to sell after it is stolen, and it is the piece of equipment that sits parked in front of the customer's house all day.
