How ordering works

   Send the text and a photo

   Call, text or use the quote form with what the sign needs to say and a straight-on photo of the door, window or wall with one measurement. That photo is the whole site survey.

   We lay it out at real size

   Type set at the height that reads from the sidewalk or the lot, not the height that fits the file. You approve the proof before anything is cut.

   Cut, printed and pre-masked

   Lettering cut and weeded, prints laminated, everything masked with transfer tape and labelled by pane so it goes on in the right order.

4. 4

   Pick it up or we ship it

   Most vinyl work is ready the same day at the Rolling Meadows shop — a short run from Hoffman Estates, Mount Prospect, Streamwood and South Barrington. Further out, we ship.

Business sign questions we get every day

Can I get custom business signs the same day near Hoffman Estates or Streamwood?

Same day at our Rolling Meadows shop for most vinyl work. Hoffman Estates is about fifteen minutes down Golf Road or Algonquin Road, Streamwood and Hanover Park a few minutes past that, and Mount Prospect and South Barrington are a similar run. Send the text and a photo in the morning and it is usually cut, masked and waiting that afternoon. We do not deliver locally, but we ship if driving in does not suit you.

Do you make lighted or channel-letter signs?

No, and we would rather say it plainly than waste your week: no illuminated signs, no lightboxes, no channel letters, no electrical work. We are a vinyl-and-print sign company — cut lettering, printed and laminated graphics, window and door signage, magnetics. For most storefronts in Hoffman Estates, Streamwood or Rolling Meadows that covers the windows, the door and the vehicles; if you need lit channel letters on the building, that is a different trade.

How much do custom business signs cost?

It scales with the size, the material and the number of colours, so we quote each job rather than posting a flat price. Text or call with what the sign says and a photo of where it goes, and you will have a number back quickly.

Should the lettering go inside or outside the glass?

Outside reads cleanest and is how most storefront lettering is done. Inside facing out protects the vinyl from weather and window washers, but tinted glass mutes the colour and the graphic has to be cut reversed so it reads correctly from the street. Tell us which side you are applying to and we produce it the right way around — that is not something to discover with a squeegee in hand.

Cut vinyl or printed — which do I want?

Cut vinyl for anything in solid colours: business name, hours, phone, suite number. The edge is sharper than print and it lasts longer outdoors. Printed and laminated vinyl for logos with gradients, photos or more colours than are worth layering. Most storefronts we do use both on the same window and you cannot tell where one ends and the other begins.

Do you install signs on my building?

No — we make the sign, apply-ready. Window and door vinyl goes on with a squeegee and patience, and our install guide walks you through it; plenty of owners do their own glass in an afternoon. Anything mounted to the building itself is an installer's job and often a village permit question, and we handle neither — your village hall can tell you what applies.

What artwork do you need from me?

Whatever you have. A vector logo is ideal, a high-resolution image is fine, and a business card or a photo of the old sign is enough for us to rebuild from. We set the layout and show you a proof before anything is cut.

How long will window lettering last?

Cut vinyl on glass lasts years, not seasons — it usually outlives the tenant's lease. Printed graphics with laminate hold up similarly. What kills window lettering early is almost never the sun; it is a razor blade during window cleaning. Tell whoever washes your glass to work around it and it stays.
